We learned about the difference between a Right and a Responsibility using a snowball activity. Then we had a look at the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRoC) and matched some rights with their coresponding responsibility. We then worked on creating our own Class Treaty. As a class we firstly decided what our rights were in the classroom and outside at break times. Then we broke into groups and worked on what the coresponding responsibilities were. We have published our treaty and everybody has signed it. We hope it will help us to enjoy our time in this classroom and make the most out of it!
